Testing 1, 2, 3...

Hello!

Take a look at the Personal News Network.  The director of CTAP suggested this as a possible solution to meet our 5C needs. I think this tool might be a better avenue for The 5C Experience publication piece than podcasting alone.  The site will support podcasts, and also video distribution, photo sharing, blogging, surveys and more. When I saw it I thought it might work well.

Each mentor group could set up a page with each student in the group creating a tab on the page.  The culture and "I Am" assignments could be published as articles on these tabs.  When an article is published, you can send a notification to those who are subscribers to your site so that they can comment. Please subscribe to my site and I will attempt to push new articles to you to test the system. At this time CTAP is preparing to create a new training for us as this is a very new web product.  It seems to hold all the power of social networking sites without the trappings.  See what you think.

Click around and consider how this might work. Check out the overview video. If you have thoughts and concerns send them back as feedback or comments.

 Thanks,

Jody Ruble
